Hours: M-F; 8am - Noon
Beginner's painting workshop will include half day painting sessions, to provide you free time to explore the canyon and participate in canyon activities. Along the south rim of the canyon, you will setup your easel, study, draw and paint. We will discuss and practice how to access the scene, light, foundation, and build a painting on the canvas. You will be inspired to study the linear rythum and contours of the canyon, and I will help you to understand color theory and teach you how to use your color palette and brushes. Students must bring their own tools and easels. A supply list will be forthcoming, upon registration. I am also a travel agent, and can gladly help coordinate all your travel needs.
